I am SO VERY EXCITED for this program because I’m a huge fan of the original U.S. series and the cast of the reboot is just fantastic! Set in New Orleans, most of the characters are gay men, but the story also includes nonbinary actor CG as non-binary character Shar, a professor “navigating the rocky transition from punk to parenthood” and trans actress Jesse James Keitel as Ruthie, CG’s partner and a “semi-reformed party girl who is struggling to grow up.” Juliette Lewis appears as the supportive Mom. AUTOSTRADDLE

It centers on a group of club-going friends who find support in the gay community following a tragedy.
