Be on the lookout for more of my boringness.
Firstly, I was happy to see that there was not a power outage today in my area. I had no electricity for a couple of hours yesterday. Not fun. I couldn't watch television, get on the internet, or use my landline to make phone calls. To make matters worse my cell phone started losing calls or being unable to make them and the internet on the phone slowed to a crawl or didn't work at all (no rhyme intended- crawl, all). I decided to take a nap and the moment I did the electricity was miraculously turned back on. Whatever.
Well tonight, I'm relaxing and watching the basketball game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Orlando Magic. My friend and I begin a furious texting session. I am enjoying a meal while texting, trying to keep up with the game, and trying to keep up with all the scores in the other sports on the ticker. Talk about multi-tasking, lol. Lately we've been going back and forth between texting and calling one another, sometimes one of us calls the other while we're still composing a text. We then laugh heartily about it. We're such nerds. Lol.
The game has become rather uncompetitive with Cleveland up by 15 points with 4:01 left in the second quarter. I'm getting sleepy and for some reason I have the Yeah Yeah Yeahs "Maps" in my head,"Oh say, say, say Oh say, say, say. Wait they don't love you like I love you. Wait they don't love you like I love you. Maps. Oh sorry, I got caught up in my love for the song and those amazing drums and the guitar riffs, wow. Anyhow, I want to see the end of the game because that's when the games usually get interesting. I stick it out and the end result is I am very right. Cleveland has given up a 15 point lead and are down by 2 points. Cleveland wins on a last second shot by Lebron James 96-95. WIth exactly 1 second on the clock, he hit this shot!! Oh my. After the game I go to sleep fairly early, for me at least, because I have to get up early in the morning to run some errands. There's always something for me to do. As the saying goes: No rest for the weary. See ya next time, my friends.
