Shibby's Shizzle
Soooo… for those of you (yes, I’m directly talking to the two, maybe three of you ;) ) who noticed that I stopped writing my blog on the site a little while ago: this is a new one. (With unequivocal evidence that I finally understood the magic that’s called youtube. ..Yeah; a bit late, but better later than never, right?! ;) )
Starting off with something that has always been near and dear to my heart: stand up comedy. Anyone who watches TV nowadays (don’t know for sure if this is the same case overseas, but just go with me here) must have at least seen the “Achmed the dead terrorist” commercial for either Comedy Central, or just on one of the other channels everyone receives nowadays. For the longest time I’ve been rejecting the thought that he (Jeff Dunham in this case) isn’t really funny, but in fact, or to my taste after doing some serious you-tubin’he actually is quite funny! Granted; his comedy isn’t for anyone, and the same goes for any kind of comedy, but there certainly are parts of his routine that will certainly make you laugh.
Browsing the net on a late, late, laaaate hour of the day night a little while ago looking for some laughs I stumbled upon this funny little Shockwave adventure game that is, while easier than.. well easy. It’s also incredibly funny to do for a little while if you don’t really have to do anything important while sitting in front of your puter. (Or if you’re pretending to be doing serious work because your boss can see you from a small distance away you could also just start playing this instead of rambling nonsense on your keyboard and fire a blank stare at your screen; at least then you actually look to be doing something.)
Fancy Pants Adventure!
On the same night I also stumbled on a very funny video about some kind of a re-enactment of Super Mario, you know; that funny little Italian man with a big mustache. The video is a bit dark, but the iconic golden coins, moving clouds and of course Super Mario himself (played by a high school student) are clearly visible.
It doesn’t really matter how old you are, or if you’ve ever seen or played at least one game of Super Mario in the past, but this is just as genius as it is hilarious to almost anyone who sees it. (And I’m willing to bet that if Ellen DeGeneres sees it she’ll probably ask him to do it all over again on her show.)
And last but certainly not least, is one hell of a funny video made by stand up comedian Margaret Cho and a couple of her friends about a very important subject in life: the puss Let me warn you up front: this is a gangsta rap video full of gangsta lesbians. ;) (With Cho being the toughest!
